WEBINAR
Would an AI choose your bank? Rethinking how banks win customers
Uncover how autonomous agents are impacting banking distribution strategies
2 December | 11am GMT | 12pm CET | Online
Banks have spent decades competing for customers through brand, marketing, digital experiences and increasingly frictionless journeys. But what happens when the customer choosing the next savings account, credit card or loan is no longer a person?
As AI agents evolve from providing recommendations to taking action on customers’ behalf, they could continuously compare financial products, move deposits towards better returns, switch providers and negotiate for better terms. Human inertia and traditional brand loyalty could become far less powerful – while price, product value, machine-readable information becomes increasingly important.
This webinar will bring together banking leaders to explore how agentic customers could reshape financial distribution, what happens when banks must compete for the attention of algorithms as well as people, and how products, technology and balance-sheet strategies need to evolve in response.
- How autonomous financial agents could transform customer behaviour, product discovery and switching, and what this means for traditional distribution models
- How banks need to rethink APIs, product design, pricing and onboarding when financial products are increasingly discovered and evaluated by machines
- How banks can prepare for a world of more mobile deposits and hyper-rational customers, and whether their own agents could become a new competitive weapon
- From advice to action: as financial agents evolve from answering questions to actually moving money, opening products and making financial decisions, how fundamentally could customer behaviour change?
- Competing for the algorithm: what determines whether an AI agent recommends one bank or product over another? How do banks make sure their propositions are discoverable and attractive to machines as well as humans?
- API-first distribution: if agents become an important route to the customer, how far will banks need to invest in real-time APIs and programmatic onboarding, rather than interfaces designed primarily for human customers?
- Products built for machines: do rates, fees, eligibility criteria and product terms need to become fully structured and machine-readable? And how do banks make this possible in practice?
- The battle for deposits: if agents can automatically move idle cash towards the best available return, how should banks rethink liquidity planning, retention and deposit pricing in response?
- The agent-to-agent bank: what new capabilities will banks need if external agents begin initiating account openings, loan applications and other financial activity?
