Sune Mortensen is Global Head of Wealth Advice in Danske Bank. Danske Bank is the largest bank in Denmark with activities worldwide but with a focus on Scandinavia and Europe in general. The Wealth Management Division has assets under management exceeding 180 billion euros with clients in all customer segments.

Prior to his current role, he was Divisional Vice President, and Head of Business Development and Advisory Services at Nykredit. He was responsible for business development of the retail banking business, including developing private banking, retail banking, mortgage, pensions and investment products.

Within the financial sector, Mr. Mortensen has evolved as leader in strategic planning, nurturing international relationships and becoming an expert in covered bonds, real estate investments, private banking and asset management products.

He holds an MSc in Economics and has been through various leadership programs in Denmark, Insead in Singapore and Fontainebleau and IMD in Lausanne.
