Sophie Guibaud is Managing Director Europe at Fidor. She started her career in investment banking in New York before joining a growth capital fund in Paris. Aside of her personal investment portfolio, Sophie acts as a mentor for startups in need of guidance to build their development strategy. Her deep involvement led her to get more and more immersed into operations activities with Sophie joining the founding team of Hello Fresh, a Rocket Internet food subscription-based company located in London. At Bankable, a payment solution company, Sophie led product strategy and commercialization. In 2015, Sophie joined Fidor to launch the challenger bank’s UK operations. Sophie’s role further expanded to the European region.
