Sofie spent most of her career building banks, including the first online bank for UBS. Having built projects for eight major international banks in over 60 countries worth over USD 1bn, Sofie decided the last thing the world needs is another bank and hence hiveonline was born.  Sofie is an advisor on sustainable fintech and blockchain to the UN, Central Banks and the G20.  She chairs the Edinburgh Futures Institute advisory panel.  Her second book,  Fintech Revolution, was named “One of the Best Fintech Books of All Time” and she has twice been named top 100 Women in Fintech.
