Sameer SHAH is Director, Regional Head Client Service – FIG of HSBC’s Global Payments Solutions business in Asia Pacific. In his role, Sameer leads HSBC’s client service and account management proposition of integrated cash management solutions to FIG clients across the region including financial institutions, insurance & intermediaries and public sector institutions.
Prior to this role, Sameer was the Regional Head of Client Implementation, Global Liquidity and Cash Management, North America where he was responsible for leading the execution of HSBC’s key mandates won across the North American market, while leveraging on his strong client orientation and leadership credentials.
Over his 20-year career, Sameer has held various senior positions in India, Australia, Hong Kong and USA across Client Management, Sales Management and Relationship Management, providing him with a valuable understanding of market and client needs, both globally and in the Asia Pacific region.
Earlier Sameer has worked in leading financial intuitions in India at ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank holding roles of Cluster Head, Branch Head and Relationship Manager.
Sameer holds a Masters in Management (MBA) in Sales & Marketing and Bachelor of Commerce in Accounts from Narsee Monjee Institute, Mumbai University.
