Rana has been working extensively with major financial services organisations, to harness the innovation in digital banking, and to bring financial wellbeing to the unbanked, underbanked and informally banked.

Rana is currently the Director, Innovation & Digital Services at Barclays. Prior to this, Rana was the Head of Innovation and Digital Financial Services Technology (Asia) for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Rana has over 20 years of experience in banking and financial services in Australia, Asia and Africa. He is an experienced strategist and innovator and has held roles such as Head of Enterprise Architecture and Chief Information Officer (CIO) within major Australian and international financial services organisations.
