Pramodh Rai is Chief Product Officer at Funding Societies | Modalku, the leading digital financing platform in Southeast Asia. Prior to this, he worked as a full-stack engineer – developing a Bitcoin brokerage, payments and fraud mitigation at a travel firm (acquired by HomeAway, Expedia) – and also held roles as analyst, developer in technology teams at Barclays Investment Bank while working in London, Tokyo as well as Singapore.

Pramodh has won two hackathons which are the DBS Blockchain Hackathon (2015) and HackAway (2016). He has also received the Young Social Entrepreneur Award from Singapore International Foundation (2014). He graduated with degrees in Computer Science and Business from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, where he also served as President Research Scholar, publishing on trust in virtual communities.
