Peter Stilwell is Head of Business Development EMEA at Coinbase. He joined Coinbase in September 2020 as one of the first business hires in Europe, helping to grow Coinbase’s presence in the region. This entailed ensuring Coinbase obtained the necessary licenses and registrations, as well as establishing strategic priorities, and executing on the roadmap.

Prior to joining Coinbase, Peter worked in the Private Equity Group of Bain & Company in San Francisco, carrying out due diligence and portfolio work on early stage tech companies. This followed a stint working in Mergers and Acquisitions at HSBC, in both London and Hong Kong.

Peter received his MBA from Berkeley Haas and has a BA in History from the University of Edinburgh.
