Paul is the Head and Director of Digital Banking and Innovation Lab for Asia Commercial Bank (ACB). He aims to position ACB as a disruptive thought leader by accelerating product innovation, bringing ideas to reality and redefining the future of the banking experience for consumers in Vietnam. He relocated to Ho Chi Minh City in April 2018 to take on this role.

Prior to ACB, Paul was the Head of Strategy and Execution for Citi’s Consumer Innovations Labs, which are part of Citi FinTech. He was based in Singapore.

In his role, Paul was responsible for driving the growth and success of Citi’s innovation efforts for its Global Consumer Banking business as well as developing cutting-edge technology and solutions to support its ambitions as the world’s leading digital bank.

Paul has also worked at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the Central Bank and integrated regulator and supervisor of financial institutions in Singapore. In that role, Paul was part of the pioneering team in establishing the Financial Technology and Innovation Group (FTIG) at MAS, where he focused on developing Singapore’s FinTech ecosystem by supporting local financial institutions in setting up innovation labs and helping them to improve their digital capabilities with the aim to foster a conductive environment for innovation to flourish and contribute to the further growth of the country’s financial sector.
