Naushad Hussain is Head of Global Retail Payments for CIMB Group. Naushad joined CIMB in 2012 and has been a part of the team which developed Speedsend. Speedsend is CIMB’s proprietary remittance product and is fast becoming a major remittance product across ASEAN and South Asia covering 20 countries across in the region in the past five years and growing steadily.

Naushad has been working in the migrant remittance segment for the past 14 years at different capacities with Banks and Money Transfer Organizations.

While heading the remittance business for BRAC Bank in Bangladesh, he was instrumental in setting up the first retail network for payouts in Bangladesh through BRAC Microfinance locations in rural Bangladesh. Prior to joining CIMB Group, Naushad was working at Merchantrade Asia Sdn Bhd as Director and Head of International Business.
