With a carrier spanning over 20 years in analytics, modeling and with hands on mentality, Kjartan has been entagled in the world of data for all of his professional life. With a passion for simplicity of complex tasks, data modeling and translating challenging concepts to data Kjartan has been over the last years at the heart of Íslandsbanki´s projects where the goal is to strive for data driven culture with data governance as the key ingredient.
Kjartan holds an M.Sc. in computer and electrical engineering from University of Iceland and various financial degrees like the GARP‘s FRM.
