Jen Chian Chua is the Head of Open Banking and API Management at Standard Chartered, based in Singapore. In his current role, Jen Chian is responsible for the global strategy, solutioning and implementation of Standard Chartered’s Open Banking and Open API programme, as well as crafting the API ecosystem partnerships and engagement model. He manages the Retail Banking Accelerator to drive innovation, digital transformation and Fintech engagement for Retail and Wealth products and services.

Jen Chian has over 20 years of management consulting, Fintech, Open Banking, Digital Transformation, payments and innovation experience spanning industries such as Financial Services, consumer goods, eCommerce and manufacturing. He is passionate about Open Banking, Innovation and Fintechs and has mentored and provided guidance to startups (having been a startup founder previously).
