Jason Lane is Executive Vice President of Market Development for Mastercard Europe. Mr. Lane is responsible for business development, acceptance development, merchant relationship management, customer economics, government partnerships and Mastercard Direct Services business.

Over the last years, Mr. Lane has held positions of increasing responsibility across various business functions at Mastercard. He has extensive international experience, gained both during his tenure at Mastercard, and previously in the consulting, retail and insurance industries.

A native of South Africa, Mr. Lane received his law degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.​
