Ian joined Sopra Steria in June 2016 to lead the UK Commercial Sector reporting to John Torrie, UK CEO.

Ian has worked in a wide range of industries including 14 years at British Airways, 8 years with Cable&Wireless and 5 years as an independent working for private equity, HPES and Capita. He has a wide range of experience in customer services, delivery & operations, as a sales director and divisional MD and has spent much of the last 5 years leading business and sales force transformation activities.

Ian joined Sopra Steria from Colt where he restructured and then sold the IT Services division.

Living in Ascot, Ian has 2 children aged 10 and 13 is a qualified Rugby coach / referee and Swimming official. He’s an enthusiastic (if long suffering) fan of Scottish Rugby and growing fan of Surrey Storm.
