Ian Hood


Ian Hood is Head of Digital for Fidelity International’s UK division and part of the UK Executive Committee. Ian has worked in the digital space for over 15 years.

Ian’s role is to set the digital strategy and direction for the UK business and to deliver it through his own substantial internal team of digital specialists as well as other matrix teams across the business.

His areas of responsibility include Digital: data & analytics, web & mobile client experiences (UX, Design & Content/publishing) as well as to drive cultural change towards a more fast paced & responsive organisation. Ian is a prolific internal blogger at Fidelity, an example of one of the ways he is helping change the way the organisation thinks and works.

Ian joined Fidelity International in April 2015 from UK based FTSE 100 Insurer RSA Insurance Group where he was Chief Digital Officer responsible for Digital strategy and execution across 30 different countries.
