Harman’s story is one of life-long learning and a strong work ethic. He began his career as a journalist and freelancer in India. After moving to the U.S. nearly twenty years ago, Harman rewrote his professional plan by becoming a financial advisor. He had always been taught the importance of learning and being open to
new experiences by his parents, who were university professors. Drawing on their teachings and inspiration, Harman started a new chapter helping clients reach their financial goals.
Constantly challenging himself to develop and grow, Harman has honed his leadership acumen over the past decade. His roles have spanned Texas, Oregon, Arizona and California in the areas of risk management, consumer banking, wealth management and private banking.
Today Harman serves as the Market Leader for U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management in Texas. He oversees teams of professionals throughout the state dedicated to providing comprehensive, personalized services that include investment management, private banking, wealth planning, and trust and estate
strategies. Recruiting diverse teams is a priority for Harman, who truly believes we can best reach and serve our clients through broader perspectives, voices and experiences.
“Learning as much as possible is far more valuable than knowing everything,” Harman explains. He works on this each day by listening to and collaborating with his colleagues and clients. Harman also extends this outlook to his advocacy of financial education, viewing it as an investment for the future. When people
become better prepared to make important financial decisions, they build the confidence and skills needed to create their own financial success stories.
