George Miltiadous is an independent consultant and has worked in Open Banking since 2017. In his role as Head of Open Banking Delivery for HSBC, he is responsible for overseeing the delivery of HSCB’s Open Banking regulatory programme and he acts as an advisor to the HSBC’s Open Banking commercialisation initiatives. He liaises with regulators, policy makers and standards bodies across Europe.

He is a member of the Programme Mangers’ Group and the Delivery Working Group at the UK Open Banking Implementation Entity, and a member of the Steering Group at the Open Banking Europe initiative.

Prior to his current role, George held a series of strategy positions for Lloyds Banking Group, leading strategy development for the small business banking segment.

George is also an instructor with the Retail Banking Academy.
