Espen is the CEO and Co-Founder of Award-Winning Norwegian fintech company Payr. With a mission to improve people’s financial lives, Payr creates product experiences that people love using science, psychology and technology. Their mobile banking app gives customers control and financial wellness. Their marketplace reinvents the customers relationship with products, then pairs them with better-suited service providers.

The startup has attracted major traction since its launch in mid-2017, as well as significant attention in the market both in Norway and internationally. In 2018 Payr was named one of the top 100 fintechs from around the world that are transforming the financial services industry.

Espen is a serial entrepreneur with three exits. Previous to Payr he has built tech companies in Norway, New Zealand, Australia & US.

He is also part of the 500 Startups alumni from Mountain View in Silicon Valley.
