Eric Tak (1966, Dutch nationality) joined ING in 2011 as Global Head Card Solutions with overall responsibility for (commercial) cards issuing and merchant acquiring solutions, cash and new business for the Transaction Services business of ING Wholesale Banking.

He has more than 25 years of international experience in Payments, having previously worked at ABN AMRO, as practice leader payments for PwC, and Associate Partner in the consulting division of IBM.

Immediately prior to  joining ING he was responsible as Director for the national product management for Dutch Payment Schemes PIN (Debit Cards) Chipknip (ePurse) and iDeal (ePayments) as well as the national migration to EMV.

Since January 2016 Eric is Global Head of the ING Payments Centre that operates across all business units and geographies of ING and is tasked with developing and executing the group-wide Payments Strategy and roadmap for ING.
