Ben Dyson leads the Bank of England’s research and policy work on digital currencies, covering cryptoassets and Central Bank Digital Currencies. He was involved in developing the UK’s policy response to cryptoassets through the Cryptoasset Taskforce (consisting of the Treasury, Bank and FCA). He recently published Broadening Narrow Money, a Staff Working Paper on the monetary policy implications of Central Bank Digital Currency.
