Following an early career in technology and consulting, Andy has led a variety of business strategy teams across the banking industry. Over the last three years he has been central to NatWest’s proactive approach to the tech disruption in financial services by establishing a portfolio of SME focussed standalone digital businesses. Under his leadership, Andy has ensured that NatWest are trailblazers in best serving SME needs and now runs a cross bank portfolio including Bo, Mettle, Esme and Tyl. As someone who believes in taking tangible action when it comes to improving diversity in banking, Andy launched the RBS Comeback programme for female returners in 2015 and recently pioneered a ground-breaking digital programme for young people from underrepresented area.
