I started my career in Madrid in 1989, at the Law Firm Fabregat y Bermejo. In 1990 I accepted an offer to work at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, in New York. Back to Spain I founded European Home Shopping, company that became the leader in the home shopping sector in Spain and Portugal. I was recognized with the 1995 Best Entrepreneur Award by the Young Entrepreneur Association.

Since then I have founded, managed and di-invested over 50 start-ups, including ABBLA MOBILE, the first MVNO in Spain.

Ex-Board Member of Avalmadrid, SGR, a financial institution specialized in mutual guarantees for SME’s, and ex-CEO of Möbius, SGIIC, a VC management company.

Currently, I serve as CEO at AC CAMERFIRMA, SA, a company formed by Infocert (Tinexta Group) and the Spanish Chambers of Commerce, leader in the digital signature and certification sector. From 2006 to 2012 I chaired Chambersing ASBL, the European Association of digital signature.

From the Institutional point of view, I chaired the Young Entrepreneur Association from 1997 to 2005, I was appointed vice chairman of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce (2006-2010), and chaired the Innovation Committee. I served as Vice president of the Executive Committee of the Madrid Entrepreneur Association (1997-to date), and in many other institutions, foundations like the Parque Científico CAM, the Madrid trade show business IFEMA, or the Board of the Universidad Autónoma (Madrid). I am treasurer of my University Professional Business Association (Club Empresarial de Icade), where I teach Entrepreneurship as associate professor in the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
