EXECUTIVE ROUNDTABLE

From pilot to platform: building the AI-ready enterprise

How banks can rewire their organizations for enterprise-wide AI adoption

September 14 | 11:10am CDT | Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago

Most banks have made their first moves in AI – but, for the majority, AI remains a collection of single point solutions layered on top of legacy architecture that is unable to support them. The result is a growing gap between what AI could deliver and what it is actually delivering.

Closing the AI gap requires a rethinking of foundations: the data architecture, the operating model, and the culture that will determine whether AI scales across the enterprise or stalls.

This roundtable will bring together senior technology and transformation leaders for a practical discussion about what enterprise-wide AI adoption actually requires to fundamentally reshape workflows. We will discuss what separates the FIs making real progress, and what it takes to build an AI-ready core that can sustain it.

Take part in an exclusive, closed-door conversation with your fellow senior leaders, conducted under the Chatham House Rule. This private 60-minute session is dedicated to open, honest dialogue about the market’s most pressing challenges and emerging opportunities.

Welcome and participant introductions

Discussion:

  • The structural barriers: why are most enterprise AI initiatives stalling at the pilot stage?
  • From data architecture to the integration layer: what does an AI-ready core look like? What foundations are needed before AI can operate reliably at scale?
  • Tackling technical debt head-on: how should banks be prioritizing legacy modernization, and how can AI itself help accelerate the path toward it?
  • How can FIs build a map of knowledge across processes, systems and data?
  • Redesigning workflows: what does it take to fundamentally reimagine end-to-end business processes with AI, and manage the complexity that comes with it?
  • The AI-ready organization: beyond the technology, what changes in culture are required to adopt enterprise-wide AI?
