Tao joined Alipay, Ant Financial Services Group in January 2016, mainly focus on developing strategic partnerships as well as building Alipay / Ant Financial ecosystem between consumer, merchants and payment service providers in EMEA region. Tao reports directly to President of Alipay EMEA.

Prior to Alipay, Tao has 14 years senior leadership wide experiences cross Information technologies industry and Mobile Digital Transformation. He is one of the pioneers who helped Chinese technologies business successfully established in Europe during the last decade. One notable brand is Huawei Technologies Europe, Tao helped Huawei developed strategic key account enterprise business based in Europe, China and Asia Pacific, responsible for multi-billion turnover per annum.

Tao enjoys travelling and golf, he has two lovely young kids.
