Soul Htite is the founder and Executive Chairman of Dianrong, a leader in online marketplace lending in China. He served as Chief Executive Officer from 2012 to 2017.

Prior to Dianrong in 2012, Soul co-founded Lending Club, the world’s largest online marketplace connecting borrowers and investors. He served as the Head of Technology until 2011. Soul led all the design and development efforts of Lending Club’s award-winning online lending platform.

Soul spent the earlier part of his career building enterprise software at Oracle Corporation. His focus was in real-time online services and system design for high availability and fault tolerance.

Soul was named World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer at the World Economic Forum in 2011. In 2017 he was named on the Yicai Brilliant 20. The list showcases the 20 most successful international entrepreneurs in their respective fields in China.

He is a frequent keynote speaker at international technology and financial events, including RISE Conferences and LendIT. He has also appeared on CNN, Bloomberg TV, CNBC and other major news outlets.

Soul holds a Master Degree in Computer Science from the Université de Montréal.
