Niall leads Industry Strategy for Microsoft’s UK Financial Services business.  Niall focuses on bringing the best of Microsoft to address the most pressing industry challenges in Financial Services, across cost optimisation and growth, regulatory and risk, employee productivity, the customer experience, and sustainability.  Before Microsoft Niall’s background was in Consulting with a focus on delivering transformation programmes in Front Office, Operations, Risk, and Finance often in the regulatory change context.  Niall has worked in Hong Kong and London across themes including target operating model design, managing the continuity risks of Brexit, KYC and Financial Crime, operational resilience, and front-to-back application modernisation.  Niall has also led alliances and partnerships to develop new offerings and unlock growth.  Niall has a deep interest in leadership and building effective organisations stemming from a background as a British Army Officer.
