Mark has over 30 years’ experience in retail financial services with various senior roles in operations and customer experience functions in the saving/lending and life insurance sectors. He joined Teachers Building Society as COO in 2019 with overall responsibility for operational delivery.  

In 2021 the Board at Teachers Building Society agreed terms to enter into an 18 month transformation programme for which Mark is the Executive sponsor. The programme seeks to blend people, processes and technology to deliver engaging and efficient customer journeys. A key aspect of the programme is migrating the Society onto a new core platform provided by Finastra and digital origination platform with Finova.
