With more than 20 years’ in the industry, Maria has extensive retail banking knowledge and significant experience of managing a range of award-winning channels and businesses, consistently driving strong performance and excellence in customer and colleague experience.

 Her current role is focused on how the Bank supports and works for its customers and colleagues; championing banking that makes a positive difference. In her position on the Bank’s Executive Committee, Maria also has responsibility for the Bank’s sustainability, values and ethics strategies; areas Maria is particularly passionate about and a driving reason for her joining the organization.
