Kirsty is MD CIO UK at Barclays – a role  which she describes as being “a matchmaker”; spending time with the business to identify where and how new technologies will move the business forward and then introducing them to each other. She has spent over 20 years in finance, strategy and risk in five different Top-Tier financial institutions, working on everything from trading P&Ls to developing product and client growth strategies, driving operating model redesign and organisational efficiencies. She has also built customer proposition and data insight teams and worked with organisations to evolve their enterprise risk framework and their operational risk environment. Independently she consulted with tech and data firms, working with them on product development, marketing and sales.
