Julie is Co-Founder and CEO leading BankWyse, a de novo Special Purpose Depository Institution (SPDI) as it moves to become one of the first regulated financial institutions providing secure, integrated commercial banking and Qualified Custody of digital assets. Additionally, Julie serves as: a Member of the Advisory Board for the Global Digital Asset & Cryptocurrency Association (GDCA), a global self-regulatory association for the digital asset & cryptocurrency industry established to guide the evolution of digital assets, cryptocurrencies, and the underlying blockchain technology within a regulatory framework; and a Member of the Advisory Board for the Global Food Exchange, and its subsidiary, The World Food Bank, a privately held corporation revolutionizing the world’s agricultural systems through innovations in finance and food production, and formerly served as an Independent Director for Namasté Solar, a solar energy company pioneering conscientious business practices. Julie is the Founder of J.A. Fellows and Associates, an executive consulting firm providing strategy development, cybersecurity, credit and enterprise risk management services, and collaborative leadership programs. Julie’s prior roles include senior executive roles in financial services and as a federal regulator with the US Treasury Department’s Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
Julie is a Qualified Financial Expert (QFE) under SEC requirements, a Certified Board Director under CDI.D, and an OCC Commissioned National Bank Examiner.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and International Business from the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business, a certificate in International Finance and Politics from the London School of Business and Finance and a certificate in Cyber-Security Risk Management from Harvard.
