Jeroen Plag (1969) was appointed Head of Corporate Strategy for ING as of 1 June 2017. Per January 2022 Jeroen has been appointed Chief Innovation Officer/Head of ING Neo a.i.

Prior to this, he acted as Head of Corporate Client Coverage Europe, UK & Middle East, and before that he covered Asia, Americas & UK, as Head of International Corporate Clients. From 2007 to ‘13, he lived and worked in Asia, first in Singapore where he was responsible for ING’s corporate and institutional client relationship coverage in South East Asia, and then in Seoul, as the Country Manager of ING Bank Korea.

Jeroen started working at ING in 1994 in the dealing room. He also acted as the Chief of Staff to the Executive Board member for Wholesale Banking.

Jeroen holds a Bachelor of Economics from HES in Rotterdam and currently serves as the Honorary Consul General to Korea in the Netherlands.
