James is responsible for customer underwriting and credit infrastructure for Capital One’s UK credit card division.  He is passionate about the opportunities presented by technology to revolutionise the industry.  Prior to his role as Head of Core Lending, James was responsible for Customer Acquisition, where he brought QuickCheck to market at scale and helped Capital One become the first credit card issuer to offer certainty through quotations.
