Hulya Turkmen

Head of Customer Experience, Garanti Bank

Hulya Turkmen has been the head of Customer Experience Department in Garanti since 2016. She is responsible for defining and executing customer experience strategies across the Bank. CX researches, cx analytics, customer journey designs, change management and customer care are the core areas in her current business.

Previous to CX, she was leading CRM & Marketing Department in Garanti between 2009 and 2016. In that role, she was responsible for segmentation and data governance, customer experience management, Social CRM, distribution network planning and performance management infrastructures.

Before 2009, she worked in Garanti Technology, which is IT subsidiary of Garanti Bank. She established Project Management Office and was in charge of designing the project management principles, setting implementation rules and running quality assessment of the processes.

She started her professional life as a relationship manager in one of the biggest commercial branches of Garanti Bank and managed a customer portfolio of 20 M USD in asset size. She was specialized on gold transactions and funding business.

Mrs. Turkmen is graduated from the Bogazici University Civil Engineering Department and she holds an MBA degree from the same university. She is a PhD candidate in the field of Organization Studies.
