Greg Sullins, a veteran financial services strategist, joined Newgen Software in February 2023 as Head of U.S. Banking – Center of Excellence, where he supports banks and credit unions in their digital banking transformations. He guides clients in developing and executing digital roadmaps to enhance customer and employee experiences while delivering shareholder value. With over 30 years of industry experience, Greg has been a driving force for change in banking. Prior to Newgen, he served as EVP at Wilson Bank & Trust, overseeing strategy, quality, and productivity. There, he led the bank’s digital transformation, implementing NewgenONE for deposit account opening, customer/account maintenance, and loan origination for small business and commercial clients. Earlier, Greg held multiple national leadership roles at Bank of America in consumer, small business, and commercial lending. He co-founded and served as CEO and President of Financial Service Solutions, LLC—a joint venture with Accenture, Fidelity National Financial, and Bank of America—offering home loan business process outsourcing to U.S. lenders. He was also Executive Director and Partner of IBM Lender Business Process Services, Inc., a subsidiary he helped establish to provide private-label mortgage fulfilment services to U.S. lenders. Greg later founded The Sullins Group, a consulting practice helping banks, credit unions, and fintechs design and implement strategies, processes, and technology integrations to drive operational improvements and business value. At Newgen, Greg leads a team dedicated to maximizing the value and effectiveness of the company’s solutions through governance, reusable frameworks, implementation guidance, and innovation strategies, ensuring scalable, compliant, and efficient delivery. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt in process design and business reengineering, and an alumnus of Austin Peay State University and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware.
