Gilles is Senior Advisor Product Innovation, in charge of designing new innovative payment products and services. He managed the HPS R&D team for 7 years and with it created half a dozen products for the mobile finance systems market, responding to needs such as mobile banking, mobile payment, money transfer and mobile POS. Gilles was also Chief Product Officer of a French payment institution aimed at marketplaces as well as participants in the crowdfunding economy. Before joining HPS in 2009, Gilles co-invented a barcode authentication solution. He holds an engineering degree from Polytech Nice Sophia school.
