Eerke came to the UK from his native country The Netherlands in 1995 as a computer science researcher, branching out into computer security ten years ago. He set up and led the University of Kent’s interdisciplinary Research Centre in Cyber Security which in 2015 achieved the accreditation of Academic Centre of Excellence. Eerke will discuss the human fire wall, and how to guard against digital vulnerabilities.
