David Fergusson is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Hugosave, Singapore’s first Wealthcare® and savings app.

A serial entrepreneur and seasoned executive with an illustrious background in investment banking, David brings more than 25 years of experience in senior positions at some of the world’s leading financial services and investment companies. He was previously a Director at Citibank where he established its institutional securities business in Indonesia. Before that, David held leadership roles at UBS and oversaw telecommunications investment banking with CLSA.

David serves on the board of investment company Nimoi Holdings and has been the Chairman of precious metals trading firm Global Precious Metals Pte Ltd since 2012. He is currently a Partner at Woodside Holdings Investment Management Pte Ltd and has been an investment committee member of Dunfallandy Trust since 2007. A passionate advocate for democratising finance, David wants to  empower Singaporeans to achieve good wealthcare through smarter and sustainable savings.

Born and raised in Singapore, David received his MA from the University of Edinburgh and MBA from the London Business School.
