Daniel van Delft is Country Manager for Visa in the Netherlands. Van Delft has a long track record in the payment industry. He gained extensive experience with credit card programmes via International Card Services (ICS), where he started as head of product management in 2001. In 2006, Daniel moved to Fortis, back then the parent organization of ICS. Van Delft has been working for Visa since 2009 where he soon became Country Manager. Van Delft has built Visa into a well-positioned and growing payment scheme in the Netherlands, both on the consumer-side as on the side of issuers and retailers. Daniel has a strong focus on innovative technologies, such as mobile payments and the Internet of Things, which transform the sector in an unprecedented pace.
