For more than 20 years, Chris has been working in financial services, analytics and technology. The first 10 years of his career he worked as senior financial services consultant at IBM. After a few years in startups, he moved to Oracle where he is now responsible for Financial Services Innovation in EMEA. As a banking expert he helps EMEA banks through provoking innovative ideas, identifying priorities and solutions in the major transformational areas in the industry. His main focus is on customer experience, digitalization, open banking business models, and differentiation with emerging technologies (blockchain, API economy, instant payments, AI, robo-advice, advanced analytics). Besides helping banks he actively mentors international startups in Oracle’s Startup Accelerator program.

Chris has a Masters degree in Business Economics from the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and has an MBA from the Henley Management School in the United Kingdom.
