Chris Bendl joined Zurich in August 2017 and is currently Country Manager Indonesia and President Director, Zurich Topas Life, Indonesia.

Chris has over 20 years of experience in insurance field, having worked for AIG in its International life operations (AIA & Alico) in the Middle East and Southeast Asia and Manulife, where he held leadership positions in the investment, pension and insurance subsidiaries in Canada, Indonesia, Hong Kong and the Philippines.

Chris completed a MBA at Queen’s University and a BSc degree at The University of British Columbia. He is an executive member of the Indonesian Life Insurance Association (AAJI).
