Carolyn has been in financial services for over 20 years, with responsibility for the Society’s mortgage proposition and borrower/broker experience.
An advocate for the mutual sector and bespoke underwriting practices, Carolyn says that she loves working for a medium sized building society as all staff have the opportunity to influence and develop the business, focusing on positive stakeholder outcomes.
Carolyn graduated alongside the first cohort in December 2018 from Loughborough University School of Business and Economics, with an MSc in Management and Leadership. This programme, developed by the Building Societies Association in conjunction with its member societies, she describes as a life changing opportunity.
Carolyn is a trustee for Leicestershire-based mental health charity LAMP and is active within Hinckley & Rugby for promoting positive mental health wellbeing practices, a cause about which she is passionate.
