Co-Head of Commercial Banking, TD Bank

Andrew (Andy) Bregenzer is Co-Head of Commercial Banking for TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient BankĀ®. In this role, he leads Regional Commercial and Small Business Banking in the U.S., including the Regional President structure. Andy began his career with TD in 2002 as an RVP in the Commercial Bank and has held various roles with increasing levels of responsibility throughout his tenure. Prior to his current role, Andy led the development of the NY Metro Commercial Credit Management group and most recently served as EVP and Regional President for TD’s NY Metro overseeing a retail network of more than 300 stores and all aspects of commercial banking. His accountability at TD extends to serving on various internal boards including TD Private Client Wealth, the TD Charitable Foundation and TD’s Political Action Committee. Andy also is a member of TD’s ESG executive team, commercial sponsor for the TD Black Employee Network, commercial executive on the Social Impact Investment Council, Sustainable Finance Executive Committee, and the Commercial Banking Risk Advisory Committee. He is also formerly the Chair of TD’s Metro NY Regional Diversity Council. A native New Yorker, Andy has been a resident of NYC for over 25 years and has close to 30 years of banking experience. He previously worked at M&T and Fleet Bank. Andy is active in the NY community and has supported many charitable organizations throughout his career. He currently serves on the boards of directors for the NYC chapter of the American Cancer Society and the United Way of NYC. He also is a member of the Partnership for NY and New York Bankers Association. Andy earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Rochester and his MBA at the University of Rochester Simon School of Business.
