Sean is Chief Information Officer at OakNorth, the next-generation credit platform that’s redefining lending to lower mid-market businesses globally.

Prior to this, Sean was one of the first commercial engineers at Palantir Technologies in Europe where he led trader oversight partnerships with large financial institutions, particularly Credit Suisse, which led to being co-head of the JV called Signac. Before Palantir, Sean was a strategist at Goldman Sachs for 8 years, working in equities, fixed income and algorithmic trading.

Originally a Commercial Banker, Helene is an Associate Director with the Centre for Digital Banking and Finance in LIBF, an experienced FinTech Programme Director, exited entrepreneur, educator and author. Her career boasts a number of ‘firsts’, including the creation of the FinTech Scale Colab Programme for Rainmaking, the Inaugural Programme of Education and Events for Innovate Finance, the FinTech on the Entrepreneurship Masters’ for UCL. Board and advisory roles include the Spanish digital identity scale up, Biid, the UK safeguarding RegTech, Kalgera, and the SME payments company, TomatoPay.  Helene was named on the Computer Weekly 100 Women in Tech Award, the Innovate Finance Women in FinTech Power List, and the Fintech Magazine 100 Women in Fintech list. She was also part of the FCA 2020 Data Sprint on SME Lending, and the recipient of the FT/Google Digital Pioneer Award. Her new book ‘Reinventing Banking & Finance: Frameworks to navigate global fintech innovation’ (Kogan) came out in November 2020, and was named the number one banking book for 2021 by Investopedia.

Diana has 20 years experience driving customer-centric strategy for payments from product design to risk and compliance. She has held senior roles in HSBC, Visa Europe, Santander and ServiRed as well as a number of advisory roles for regulators, industry bodies and private companies. She has also been invited as a guest lecturer at the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School.

 

Diana defines herself as a Madrid-born Londoner and is passionate about diversity & inclusion. She is a mum to a 6-year old and enjoys contemporary art, travelling (when possible!), reading, walking and talking to people – and she never says no to trying new foods!

Lee leads Payment Strategy and Research for NatWest Payments. Assessing the landscape, understanding the threats and opportunities, setting the go forward direction, supporting customers across multiple brands and doing so in collaboration with internal and external partners.

With knowledge and experience working across all types of payments, he has also been a leading voice internally and externally in the Digital Currency space, sitting on multiple industry groups and representing NatWest at industry events

He also has extensive banking experience in product / P&L management, risk, policy setting and strategy.

Lee joined NatWest in 2018 after 13 years at the Co-operative Bank where he held senior leadership roles within product and payments.  Latterly owning the payment strategy together with responsibility for regulatory change including PSD2 and key payment scheme relationships.

Married with a daughter and a son, Lee is a keen footballer and captains his local side. He is an ardent supporter of Liverpool FC and has followed them all over Europe.

Through a number of diverse roles in marketing, product development, technology and payments, the common thread for Kate is the delivery of great customer journeys and solutions. Kate has a very strong focus on innovation, driven by consumer demand and global market movements. Kate actively works with Fintech companies and this has given her further insight into the types of problems that customers experience and how to go about providing relevant and meaningful solutions. Kate now leads the Strategy team at Pay.UK with the purpose of driving innovation in the payments ecosystem and enabling a vibrant UK economy.

Prior to joining Meta, Russell spent 10 years at Barclays Bank, where he led digital consumer acquisition within the credit card division, Barclaycard; before going on to lead the digital transformation of their Southern Europe cards business.

Joining Meta has given Russell the opportunity to combine his knowledge of financial services with his passion for technology and digital marketing; helping brands connect with their customers through the power of mobile.
